I love broken people. We all go around hurting each other, breaking ourselves a little more. We knock each other down. And we try to pick each other back up. But sometimes that’s not what we need. Just be present with your brokenness. People will say you just need to do something, or somewhere out there there’s someone for you. But you see how these “feel better” statements take you away from the here and now, don’t you? Just be present. Nothing needs to be fixed. Depression can last, but for many it’s part of the path. One that is often traveled alone. This is how you get your realizations. That is the power of presence. I walk this path. And I love simply because I am love.
