Ask your body, is this true? The body knows that it will expire in time. But from birth until death it regenerates cells every single day. You literally die and are reborn on a cellular level continually throughout your lifetime. Each cell serves the higher purpose: to live. So, you are not one life. You are many! And for our nonphysical self-the body of thought and mind-it is the same. You are the cell within a body of consciousness. Physical bodies come and go.
