Blunt Force Truth: Don’t judge a person by their past, because you’re going to–not might—you’re going to miss what’s right in fucking front of you, and that’s a beautiful soul who’s doing everything in their power to move forward from their past. Simply honor their path and their process. Be present to create space for their growth–because that ain’t gonna happen if you’re holding them to their past. You’re actually pushing them back in that direction when you do, and maybe that’s why they’re having such a hard time moving forward. If you don’t get out of their way, you might get stampeded by their progress. Maybe that’s why people fear a powerful wo/man.
